Lately I've been very interested in the realm of under-water life. I'm hoping this painting will capture the juxtaposition of serene blissful underwater beauty with the constant imminent danger that is wildlife. Sporadic splatters are intended to suggest the intensity of ever-changing surroundings. Lights and darks will be heightened and distorted to indicate the differences and changes in light, underwater versus on land.
